Born in Washington, D.C., Allan's artistic ability surfaced at an early age and flourished throughout his school years as he pursued the study of art.  Through the turbulence of his young life, visual art emerged as his primary form of self-expression.  After his parent’s separation, Allan moved to the foothills of North Carolina with his mother and siblings.  It was there that he developed a deep connection with the beauty of nature.

Through life's turn of events, Allan's professional career turned to the field of Information Technology. While he still maintains a successful career in IT, Allan never gave up his passion for art. All the while, experimenting with various mediums as a creative outlet. 

Today Allan's paintings capture the reflection of nature in a way that expands the consciousness of the observer.  In his recent abstracts, he evokes on canvas the voyage of the human spirit seeking to emerge from the forces that constrain it to the intensity and joy of it's own existence.  Allan is passionate about the power of art to convey the essence of nature and spirit.
